FMCG Shift Manager - 45k - Omagh

Job Description

VANRATH are delighted to be assisting our major client again with the Recruitment of a Trainee Shift Manager to join their dynamic and growing team to join their Omagh Office.

Hours- Monday - Friday - Day Shift with the occasional Saturday.

Salary - £30,000 - £45,000 (Depending on experience)

​

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will report directly to the General Manager and Operational Manager, and will work closely with Supervisors, Line Leaders and Technical personnel to oversee the day-to-day running of the facility to ensure the on-time delivery of premium products.

We are seeking for a candidate who thrives in a fast paced, pressurised environment. Working to exacting specifications and targets, getting the best out of both people and equipment within the facility.

Essential Criteria:

  • 3rd Level Education or equivalent in a food or agriculture related subject or previous Supervisory experience within a production factory environment

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Self-motivated with the willingness to learn

  • Ability to work in a pressurised environment

  • A keen eye for detail and organisational skills

  • Ability to work on your own initiative

  • IT literate

  • Reliable, flexible, and punctual

Desirable Criteria:

  • Previous experience of working in a retail packing environment and/or red meat industry

  • Previous experience of co-ordinating / managing people
