What you'll do

  • Lead a team of senior accountants in delivering monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reporting requirements.
  • Ensure accurate data input for financial reporting to Pilgrims US and compliance with established group and HMRC/Revenue timetables.
  • Oversee monthly VAT and Intrastat reconciliations, quarterly corporation tax payments and provisions, and annual tax computations.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to implement best practices and consistency across business units.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to identify and implement projects, providing tax advice and challenge.
  • Operate with the highest standards of financial integrity, collaborative working, and uphold company values.
  • Develop and lead a highly motivated tax team, fostering efficiencies and maintaining robust financial & tax governance.

About You

Essential:

  • Part/ fully Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with a minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards.
  • Experience in VAT returns & corporation tax computations.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Leadership skills to motivate and maximize team performance.


Desirable:

  • Advanced IT skills including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Sound working knowledge of ERP systems and consolidation tools.
  • Experience in a SOX environment.
  • SAP experience.
  • Experience in US GAAP.
