Stores Admin - Craigavon

Job Description

VANRATH are assisting with the recruitment of a Stores / Warehouse Administrator for a company that will focus on working on major contracts.

Permanent Full-time position - Monday - Thursday 8am - 4.45pm, Friday (half day) 8am-12.45pm - Position of work is Craigavon (some 7am starts may be required to cover holidays [rare])

Salary:

£24,000 + great benefits pack + pay review after 6 months, health cash back, pension, 30 days annual leave

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries
  • Signing for, receiving and checking off goods in to stores
  • Ordering plant and equipment from suppliers
  • Uploading plant and equipment to Cresta (Equipment Database)
  • Arranging for yard skip to be exchanged when full (checking dockets for compliance)
  • Organising for the redundant fluorescent tubing (coffins) to be collected and exchanged when full
  • Organising the confidential paper waste visits when required
  • Organising and scheduling in engineers for annual van checks and PAT Testing
  • Carrying out annual van checks
  • Forklift operations as and when required
  • Driving vans to mechanics or tow bar/roof rack company
  • Keeping stores area organised clean and tidy including yard and unit
  • General admin duties (covering annual leave for other team members)

The Ideal Person:

  • MUST HAVE a driving licence (clean or almost clean)
  • MUST HAVE forklift licence
  • Experience in warehousing / stores, ideally in administration
  • Familiar with matching software systems
