The Role

As the Food Production Line Leader, you will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operation of the production line. You will lead a team of production operatives, ensuring quality, efficiency, and health and safety standards are consistently met. The role requires a hands-on approach and strong leadership skills to maintain performance and meet production targets.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the production line team, ensuring output meets quality and efficiency standards

  • Monitor production processes and identify areas for improvement

  • Minimise downtime and address operational issues as they arise

  • Ensure full compliance with food safety and health and safety regulations

  • Provide training and support to new and existing team members

  • Maintain accurate records and reports relating to production performance

  • Collaborate with other departments including quality assurance and maintenance to ensure smooth operations


Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing environment is essential

  • Experience in a team leader, line leader, or supervisory role

  • Strong understanding of health, safety, and food hygiene regulations

  • Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
