This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing Agile team within a world-leading financial services and market infrastructure provider.

The Role


As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in the delivery of complex software solutions used by internal stakeholders and external customers. Working in a modern Agile environment, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain scalable, high-quality software with a strong focus on continuous integration, deployment, and testing.

Responsibilities


  • Collaborate with architecture and product teams to develop innovative technical solutions.

  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of engineering excellence.

  • Ensure high-quality deliverables through test-driven development and code reviews.

  • Drive end-to-end delivery of key product features.

  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and promote continuous improvement.

  • Work closely with QA and DevOps teams to ensure robust CI/CD practices.

Essential Criteria


  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.

  • Strong development experience with C# .NET and/or Java.

  • Solid understanding of secure coding practices and API design.

  • Proficient in source control (Git) and CI/CD automation tools.

  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases.

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Passion for testing and software quality.

Desirable Skills


  • Front-end development experience (React, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS).

  • Experience working with AWS, including serverless architecture and containerization.

  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

  • Exposure to TDD, BDD, or similar testing methodologies.

  • Knowledge of financial systems and markets is a strong plus.
