Vanrath are recruiting for a professional and friendly Receptionist in a company within the Belfast City Centre area on a temporary basis.
About the role:
This role is the first point of contact for visitors and callers, requiring excellent communication and organisational skills. The position is initially offered for around 7 months, with the potential to become permanent. The successful candidate will also support other departments.
Details:
- Standard hours are Monday - Friday, 9am to 5pm
- Temporary, approximately 7 months, with potential to go perm
- £12.50ph can be discussed, dependant on experience
What you will do
- Greet visitors and handle all front desk interactions in a professional manner
- Answer and direct incoming telephone calls
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
- Maintain the reception area and meeting room bookings
- Provide general administrative support, including data entry and document handling
- Assist the HR department with ad hoc administrative tasks
- Coordinate with other internal departments as required
Essential Criteria:
- Previous experience in a receptionist or front-of-house role preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Well-organised with excellent attention to detail
- Friendly, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Discreet and professional when handling confidential information
