Are you an experienced AP professional who is keen to take on a challenging new role? A major distribution organisation in Co. Down are going through a significant period of growth and require an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team! This is initially a minimum 9 month contract with a view to extend.

Client

VANRATH are pleased to be working with a distribution organisation based in County Down who are recruiting for an Accounts Payable specialist to join their team on an initial interim contract. This role can offer an experienced finance professional the next step in their career. The candidate will be required to support the implementation of a new ERP system and accurately check and input invoices.

The Ideal Person

If you've 2+ years' experience of working as an Accounts Payable specialist and are interested in such a role:

  • Strong AP knowledge
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Responsibilities

As an Accounts Payable specialist you will be responsible for:

  • Processing supplier invoices
  • Prepare and submit supplier statements
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Handle supplier queries
