What You'll Do

  • Lead the Sales Ledger function, overseeing invoicing, credit notes, receipts, and statements
  • Supervise and develop a small team, offering support and training
  • Resolve customer and internal finance queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Liaise with stakeholders across departments to ensure accurate financial processes
  • Deliver KPI reports and support month-end reporting
  • Lead or support finance-related process improvement initiatives
  • Identify internal control improvements within administrative processes
  • Support the wider Finance team with ad hoc tasks and projects as needed

About You

  • 5+ years' experience in a finance or office administration environment (ideally sales ledger)
  • 3-5 years' experience managing or supervising a small team
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail
  • Confident working cross-functionally with other teams and external stakeholders
  • Proficient in Excel and familiar with ERP/accounting systems
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs including Maths and English
  • Sound understanding of financial principles and ledger processes
