What You'll Do
- Lead the Sales Ledger function, overseeing invoicing, credit notes, receipts, and statements
- Supervise and develop a small team, offering support and training
- Resolve customer and internal finance queries in a timely and professional manner
- Liaise with stakeholders across departments to ensure accurate financial processes
- Deliver KPI reports and support month-end reporting
- Lead or support finance-related process improvement initiatives
- Identify internal control improvements within administrative processes
- Support the wider Finance team with ad hoc tasks and projects as needed
About You
- 5+ years' experience in a finance or office administration environment (ideally sales ledger)
- 3-5 years' experience managing or supervising a small team
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail
- Confident working cross-functionally with other teams and external stakeholders
- Proficient in Excel and familiar with ERP/accounting systems
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs including Maths and English
