Our client is renowned for exceptional service and a culture of innovation and excellence. As they continue to grow, there is a need for a Facilities Project Manager to lead our facility-related expansion projects.
What you'll do:
- Lead and manage all aspects of facility renovation, maintenance, and expansion projects from start to finish.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, time lines, budgets, resources, and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external consultants, architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to meet project requirements.
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, and expenditure reports to ensure financial compliance.
- Create and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Source materials, equipment, and services efficiently, focusing on cost-effective procurement and timely delivery.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring adherence to contractual terms.
- Conduct thorough inspections and quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulations.
- Maintain clear communication, providing regular updates and progress reports to stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, conflicts, and issues, escalating complex matters to senior management when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting a culture of safety.
About you:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- Proven experience as a Facilities Project Manager or similar role, managing complex construction projects from inception to completion.
- Expertise in project management methodologies in a manufacturing environment, with skills in planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder collaboration.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite; PMP certification is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- 3-5 years of experience in AutoCAD
