An established and growing manufacturing business is currently seeking a Production Supervisor to support operations within a high-volume, process-driven facility. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced team leader looking to step into a challenging and rewarding supervisory role with excellent long-term prospects.

This role follows a 24/7 rotating shift schedule that provides significant rest time, ensuring a healthy work-life balance while maintaining full-time hours.



The Opportunity:
As Production Supervisor, you will oversee a team of production operatives, ensuring output is achieved efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. You'll be responsible for coordinating daily activities, supporting team performance, and helping to drive a culture of continuous improvement across the production floor.



Your Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of production staff, ensuring smooth workflow and productivity.
  • Enforce company health & safety procedures, promoting a culture of safety-first behaviour at all times.
  • Provide hands-on support and leadership, including mentoring, performance reviews, and development planning.
  • Monitor production metrics and adjust plans as needed to meet operational targets.
  • Facilitate regular team meetings and visual performance updates.
  • Work cross-functionally with departments such as quality, maintenance, and logistics to resolve issues quickly.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.


What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or team lead position within a manufacturing or production setting.
  • Strong knowledge of production processes, H&S compliance, and quality control.
  • A confident communicator who can lead, motivate, and develop teams effectively.
  • Organised, proactive, and solutions-focused.
  • Competent with basic computer systems (MS Office, production tracking tools, etc.).
  • A relevant degree or technical qualification is an advantage but not essential.
