Job Overview
VANRATH are partnering with a returning client in their search for an experienced Personal Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will provide high-level administrative and organisational support to the Director, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of their daily schedule and responsibilities. The role involves managing communications, coordinating meetings and travel, maintaining confidentiality, and acting as a key point of contact internally and externally on behalf of the Director.
- Salary: £26,000 - £28,000

- 9 months, with potential for extension
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Director's diary, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and events to optimise time and priorities.
- Handle all forms of communication on behalf of the Director, including drafting and responding to emails, letters, and calls in a professional and confidential manner.
- Arrange comprehensive travel and accommodation plans for the Director, preparing detailed itineraries for both domestic and international trips.
- Organise and prepare for meetings by compiling agendas, briefing materials, and ensuring the Director is fully prepared; take accurate minutes when required.
- Provide high-level administrative support, maintaining accurate records and managing confidential documents with absolute discretion.
- Act as a key liaison point for internal and external stakeholders, representing the Director with professionalism and efficiency.
- Monitor the progress of key tasks and projects, providing updates and ensuring that deadlines and objectives are met.
- Support with occasional personal and household tasks as required, ensuring seamless integration of the Director's professional and personal commitments.
Essential Criteria:
- At least 3 years' experience supporting senior management or a Director.
- Strong skills in diary, travel, and email management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Highly organised with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Discreet and trustworthy with confidential information.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Confident dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience in a corporate or executive setting.
- Project support or coordination experience.
- Understanding of the Northern Ireland business or public sector.
- Access to own transport.
