Office Administrator (Design Company)

Job Description

VANRATH is working on behalf of a valued client in the recruitment of an experienced Office Administrator. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to keep business operations efficient and organised. You'll be a central figure in supporting daily office functions and helping the wider team stay on track.

Location: Belfast

Salary: Up to £27,000 (depending on experience)


Key Responsibilities

  • Providing comprehensive administrative support across various business functions

  • Maintaining accurate digital records and updating internal databases

  • Preparing internal reports, memos, and standard correspondence

  • Coordinating meeting logistics, diary bookings, and taking minutes when needed

  • Handling incoming and outgoing communications, including post and email

  • Managing supplies and assisting with procurement and stock control

  • Upholding organisational processes and assisting with general compliance tasks


Candidate Criteria

  • Prior experience in an office-based administrative role

  • High level of attention to detail with an organised and methodical approach

  • Ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively

  • Competent in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset
