Interim Senior HR Officer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Human Resources Officer to join our client's HR team for an initial period of 3 months. In this role, you will assist in delivering an efficient, effective, and high-quality HR service. You will lead on specific strategic and operational HR functions and support key objectives in line with organisational policies and best practices. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of stakeholders and contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development, implementation, and delivery of a key HR function to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Provide expert HR advice, guidance, and support to managers across the organisation.
  • Proactively manage HR processes, identifying and addressing emerging issues.
  • Prepare complex and sensitive HR information for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in recruitment and selection, including senior appointments.
  • Assist in the improvement of HR information systems and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
  • Attend and provide advice at Industrial and Fair Employment Tribunals.
  • Ensure adherence to the organisation's governance standards and HR-related audits.

Essential Criteria:

  • Degree or equivalent professional qualification with at least two years of experience in an HR role at Band 5 level or equivalent.

OR

  • Five years' experience in HR
  • In-depth knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and current employment legislation.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience in managing or supervising staff for at least one year.
