Qualified Accountant / Part Qualified / QBE
Strong Excel skills
Confidnet to lead a small team
Strong analytical and financial planning skills, able to influence decision-making
What you'll do
The Financial Controller will be responsible for managing all financial operations within the business, ensuring accurate reporting, supporting commercial decision-making, and leading a small finance team. This role will play a key part in driving performance, improving systems, and supporting strategic initiatives across the company.
Prepare and present monthly management accounts with insightful commentary
Produce financial and operational reports using Excel
Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis
Manage cash flow, working capital, and debtor control
Oversee inventory valuation and costing processes
Support operational teams with cost analysis and margin improvement initiatives
Lead and develop the finance team, ensuring a high-performance culture
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and prepare year-end accounts
Liaise with external accountants
