The Role
As a Financial Analyst you will collaborate with others, helping all other teams in the finance function reach their common goals. You will assist the senior leadership to provide financial analysis and consult on expense management matters.
Responsibilities

  • Support the internal management reporting and analysis activities by preparing analysis, compiling reports, and assisting in updating presentations in support of team deliverables
  • Help build storyline for financial updates
  • Work collaboratively within team and with suppliers of plan and data manipulation
  • Able to work with large amounts of data and able to ensure the accuracy of the results
  • Provide accurate, timely reports with financial insight to assist business partners to improve performance
  • Clearly articulate point-of-view, and analyse problems with assistance of management
  • Understand monthly timeline with goal to meet or exceed deliverables; communicate challenges and roadblocks to deliverable timing with the rest of the team to determine potential work-arounds
  • Participate on special projects and analyses as requested by management
  • Prepare and maintain on-going documentation with regard to analytical concepts/methodologies and associated process controls
  • Drive conversations to understand implications of current trends
  • Ensure credibility and reputation of high quality (accurate, timely, relevant) financial measurement, reporting and planning


The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have a degree in a finance or a related subject or hold a non-finance related degree with a postgraduate finance or accountancy qualification.

  • All candidates must evidence an existing right to work in the UK
  • A degree classification in Finance, or related discipline, OR
  • A degree in a non-finance related discipline but supported with a post-graduate qualification within a finance or accountancy related discipline, OR
  • At least 2 years' experience in a Finance role; AND
  • Applicants must be willing and eligible to travel to the USA;
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and the ability to analyse, manipulate, and interpret large amounts of data;
  • General understanding of financial and accounting concepts.
