Overview:
We're hiring a Department Operations Assistant to work cross-functionally with our sales and hire teams. You'll keep internal processes running smoothly, handling day-to-day admin, communications, and task management to support our operational success.
Responsibilities Include:
Update and manage records and contact databases
Schedule department meetings and coordinate logistics
Be the main point of contact for hire enquiries (Thu-Fri)
Provide support with sales enquiries (afternoons, Mon-Thu)
Respond to emails and calls, prepare quotes, and follow up promptly
Track project progress and flag potential delays
Support internal communication across teams and with suppliers
Order office supplies and equipment when needed
Generate reports to inform weekly team meetings
Pitch in with other admin tasks as required
What We're Looking For:
Detail-oriented, organised, and deadline-conscious
Great communicator with a team-first attitude
Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new systems
Able to manage competing demands and stay on top of priorities
Confident, helpful, and solution-focused
Interest in supporting construction-focused teams
