Client

VANRATH are delighted to be working with a successful manufacturing business in Belfast who currently require an experienced Credit Controller to join their team. This role is initially being recruited to assist with an increase in workload and will have the opportunity to become a permanent post.

Reporting to the Credit Manager, the Credit Controller will be responsible for ensuring the timely collection of aged debt. Candidates with excellent communication skills are essential, as you will be tasked with maintaining long standing customer relationships, while bringing on new customers.

If you are a Credit Controller and are keen to take the next step in your career by joining a market leader:

  • 2 years' experience in a similar finance/credit control environment
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Ability to work as part of team
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment

Responsibilities

As a Credit Controller, you will:

  • Carry out credit checks
  • Manage and resolve customer disputes
  • Monitor overdue accounts and manage outstanding debt
  • Manage own workload ensuring all performance measures and SLAs are met
