What You'll Do

Working closely with the Finance Manager, you'll play a key role in handling the business's banking and daily financial operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring accurate maintenance of multiple bank account records
  • Preparing, entering, and co-authorising electronic payments within required timeframes
  • Handling incoming payments, supplier transactions, client funds, and direct debits
  • Managing daily cheque printing and posting
  • Carrying out daily bank reconciliations and treasury movements
  • Setting up international currency payments and handling external queries
  • Overseeing the shared accounts inbox, ensuring all queries are actioned
  • Collaborating with finance colleagues to meet business deadlines
  • Assisting other team members when necessary to maintain workflow

About You

  • At least 2 years' experience in a transactional finance or cashiering environment
  • Background in accounts administration, bookkeeping, or finance operations
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and accounting systems
  • Experience working with foreign currency accounts is desirable
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Able to work independently and supportively within a team
  • Proactive, organised, and comfortable with process-driven work
