What You'll Do

As Finance Assistant, you'll support the Finance Manager in ensuring efficient handling of the firm's daily financial activities. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Posting and printing cheques as part of daily processing

  • Maintaining accurate records across multiple bank accounts

  • Managing daily bank reconciliations and monitoring treasury transactions

  • Administering client funds, direct debits, and incoming payment processing

  • Setting up currency payments internationally and liaising with banks as needed

  • Co-authorising and processing payments within strict timeframes

  • Responding to external queries and resolving issues promptly

  • Handling transactions through the shared finance inbox

  • Supporting colleagues to meet department deadlines and ensure smooth operations

About You

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a finance support, cashiering, or accounts role

  • Comfortable working independently and collaborating as part of a team

  • Solid background in bookkeeping, finance administration, or similar

  • Confident using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and finance software systems

  • Proactive, detail-focused, and structured in your approach to tasks

  • Strong communication and time-management skills

  • Experience in handling foreign currency transactions is a plus
