As Finance Assistant, you'll support the Finance Manager in ensuring efficient handling of the firm's daily financial activities. Your responsibilities will include:
Posting and printing cheques as part of daily processing
Maintaining accurate records across multiple bank accounts
Managing daily bank reconciliations and monitoring treasury transactions
Administering client funds, direct debits, and incoming payment processing
Setting up currency payments internationally and liaising with banks as needed
Co-authorising and processing payments within strict timeframes
Responding to external queries and resolving issues promptly
Handling transactions through the shared finance inbox
Supporting colleagues to meet department deadlines and ensure smooth operations
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a finance support, cashiering, or accounts role
Comfortable working independently and collaborating as part of a team
Solid background in bookkeeping, finance administration, or similar
Confident using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and finance software systems
Proactive, detail-focused, and structured in your approach to tasks
Strong communication and time-management skills
Experience in handling foreign currency transactions is a plus
