They are seeking a skilled and experienced Accounts Assistant to join their friendly team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting, be qualified by experience, and possess the expertise to independently complete a full set of accounts up to Profit and Loss This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of their firm while working in a supportive and growth-oriented atmosphere.

What you'll do
Full Set of Accounts: Independently manage the preparation of complete sets of accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Profit and Loss (P&L): Compile and analyse financial statements, with a focus on producing accurate and detailed Profit and Loss statements.
Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports, providing valuable insights and recommendations to support decision-making processes.
Client Interaction: Collaborate with clients to gather necessary information and address inquiries, fostering strong client relationships.
Record Keeping: Maintain organised and up-to-date financial records, ensuring accessibility and retrieval of information as needed.
Compliance: Stay current with changes in accounting regulations and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to facilitate a collaborative and efficient working environment.
You will have:
The firm is keen to encourage application who are qualified by experience with a proven track record in completing a full set of accounts independently.
Relevant accounting qualifications or certifications are advantageous.
Technical Skills: Proficient in accounting software Sage and Microsoft Office Suite.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Initiative: Proactive approach and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
