What's the opportunity?


A long-established and reputable accountancy practice in Antrim is seeking a part-qualified accountant to join their in-office team. The firm works with a varied and loyal client base across Northern Ireland and is offering a role with real hands-on responsibility in accounts preparation, client interaction and general practice support.
This role would suit a part-qualified ACA/ACCA candidate looking to gain further experience in a stable, supportive setting, with flexibility around working hours for the right individual.



What will you be doing?

  • Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
  • Assisting with VAT returns and management accounts
  • Liaising directly with clients to request information and resolve queries
  • Supporting senior staff in delivery of high-quality service
  • Using a range of accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero, QuickBooks)


What do you need?

  • Part-qualified ACA or ACCA with relevant practice experience
  • Confident preparing accounts from trial balance
  • Experience with VAT returns and client communication
  • A team-focused mindset and willingness to work fully in-office
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
