Job Description

Our client, a market leader in industrial machinery solutions, is seeking an experienced and proactive Workshop Service Manager to join their organisation.

Working Pattern:
Full-time, Monday to Friday. Permanent position with no weekend requirements.

Location:
Office based in Belfast.

Package:
Salary range £45,000 - £55,000, alongside an attractive benefits package from a well-established employer.

Main Duties:

  • Direct and motivate a service team responsible for supporting and maintaining heavy equipment, ensuring customers receive prompt and reliable assistance.

  • Supervise daily workshop activities, allocate tasks, monitor progress, and keep clients informed throughout the repair process.

  • Act as the central contact for all technical concerns, delivering fast resolutions and maintaining accurate service records.

  • Liaise closely with sales teams, parts departments, and external suppliers to manage complex technical queries and warranty issues.

  • Prepare detailed service documentation and coordinate the return of components and supporting evidence for warranty submissions.

Essential Background and Competencies:

  • Experience within construction equipment, plant machinery, commercial vehicles, agricultural engineering, or similar technical environments.

  • Demonstrated success in planning schedules and directing team workloads efficiently.

  • Strong working knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, and the operation of heavy equipment.
