Staff UX Engineer
VANRATH has partnered with a leading payment solutions business with the hire of a Staff UX Engineer.

The Company:
A privately held full-service payment processor founded in 2003, servicing over 130,000 clients and processing over $38 billion in annual card volume.

The Role:
The Staff UX Engineer is responsible for creating a unified user experience that spans across a portfolio of products such as gateways, portals and mobile applications.

The Staff UX Engineer synthesises company objectives with the audience needs for each portfolio product, analyses usability and develops design principles and patterns based on user research and testing.

The individual will focus on Product and Engineering functions, and therefore experience with software development, quality assurance, and payments industry workflows is highly desirable.

The Ideal Person:

  • 4+ years of experience in a related position.
  • Experience with full UX design process from user research, to prototyping, testing and implementation.
  • Ability to coordinate and facilitate workshops remotely.
  • Familiarity with current mobile technologies (iOS and Android) design trends.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, jQuery.
  • Experience of using Figma (or a similar prototyping tool).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
