VANRATH are assisting with the recruitment of a Supply Chain Controller for a market leading organisation that has a fantastic reputation. An amazing opportunity in a growing organisation with opportunities for progression.
The role is based in the company's Coleraine office. This is a Permanent position.
Shifts are Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm.
Salary
£25,000+ per year + Fantastic Benefits package
Responsibilities:
- Re-Ordering stock from suppliers, using our Charisa system to analyse sales and trends and considering peaks or troughs in ordering patterns.
- Order additional promotional stock to meet Category buy in targets set by Category managers to realise company savings.
- Liaising with supplier customer services, goods in, and transport companies to ensure stock is in store on time.
- Supporting and responding to suppliers with daily queries and requests including customs queries in order to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Working alongside goods inwards and stock teams to identify stock issues and control stock levels.
- Monitoring daily goods inwards non conformance reports and communicating these to suppliers and raising credits or stock returns where necessary.
- Reviewing daily short delivered stock reports to identify stock needed to reorder or add to existing PO's.
- Keying, processing purchase orders to System and ensuring suppliers receive orders and react quicky to our demands.
- Maintaining professional working relationships with suppliers and the purchasing and operational teams and wider internal and external sales teams.
- Meet KPI standards set by Head of Purchasing.
- Monitoring supplier service level reports from historic short delivered stock for Category managers to use to improve supplier overall performance.
- Compile multiple management stock reports in various Microsoft Office formats including Powerbi / Vecta / Microsoft teams.
- Raise credit claims for Purchase ledger on price differences, damaged stock, short delivered stock etc.
- Visit warehouse if required to assess stock levels or inspect stock if compliance issues arise.
Essential Criteria:
- Full working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to use and operate 3rd party software used and developed by the company - PowerBI, My Viewpoint and Vecta.
- Negotiation skills.
- Ability to communicate at all levels.
