Staff Software Engineer - Hybrid (Belfast)

Location: Belfast (hybrid working model)

Role Overview

Join a collaborative, multi-disciplinary development team based in Belfast. You will architect, deliver, and maintain next-generation solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and develop scalable, secure, reusable systems aligned with enterprise standards.

  • Collaborate closely with Product, QA, DevOps, and Agile teams to deliver high‑quality software.

  • Drive feature development, diagnose and resolve issues, and contribute to service enhancements.

  • Build resilient platforms serving merchants, B2B clients, and government programs, including real‑time payments and BNPL.

  • Mentor peers through code reviews, knowledge-sharing, and technical leadership.

Required Skills & Qualities

  • Proven track record in designing, building, and deploying modern services and web applications.
