The Opportunity

As a Staff Software Engineer, you will help design and build enterprise-grade systems that touch billions of users globally. You'll be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team tackling complex challenges in distributed systems, payment flows, cybersecurity, and more.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate complex functional and technical requirements into scalable system architecture.

  • Lead design, code, and architectural reviews, while contributing hands-on to development efforts.

  • Drive agile practices, continuous integration, and continuous delivery across the team.

  • Mentor other engineers and advocate for engineering best practices.

  • Explore and integrate emerging technologies that can improve performance and delivery.

  • Champion test-driven development and high standards for quality and security.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field (Bachelor's required, Master's or PhD desirable).

  • Proven experience in a senior/lead engineering role within a high-scale, complex environment.

  • Expert-level proficiency in Java, with strong knowledge of tools such as Spring, Hibernate, REST, Docker, Maven, Git, Jenkins, JUnit/TestNG/Mockito.

  • Strong understanding of software engineering best practices across the full SDLC.

  • A collaborative mindset with excellent communication and mentoring abilities.

  • A passion for clean code, technical innovation, and continuous improvement.
