Our client is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer III with 2-3+ years experience in Python to help transform their global Network Services function. In this role, you'll design and build automation tools, develop full-stack applications, and drive greater efficiency across one of the world's largest exchange network infrastructures. Working in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with Kubernetes, you'll play a key role in building scalable, self-healing systems that improve reliability and reduce manual effort.
You'll be part of a diverse, international team spanning the US, UK, India, and Singapore, collaborating to deliver secure, resilient, and high-performing network services.
What You'll Do
Build and maintain self-service and automation tools to streamline IT operations.
Deliver full-stack solutions, combining responsive front-end interfaces with scalable back-end services.
Design, deploy, and scale microservices in GCP (GKE).
Manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform).
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs with Flask (or similar frameworks).
Troubleshoot Linux environments and work primarily in VS Code.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
Work within Agile Scrum teams, using Jira and Bitbucket for collaboration.
Apply strong problem-solving skills to deliver high-quality, on-time solutions.
What We're Looking For
2-3 years' hands-on Python development experience, ideally with automation or tooling projects.
Experience with Flask and Django frameworks.
Familiarity with network fundamentals (routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs); network automation a plus.
REST API development experience (Flask or similar).
Some front-end exposure (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JQuery) is helpful.
Skilled in Terraform, Linux, and VS Code.
Strong grounding in coding best practices (PEP8, SOLID, SDLC, CI/CD).
Excellent communicator who can simplify complex technical concepts.
Collaborative team player with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
Education: A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields is preferred; equivalent experience is also valued.
