Service Engineering Manager (Healthcare)

Are you a skilled Field Service Engineer with supervisory experience? Interested in working with equipment and machinery in the healthcare industry?

VANRATH are recruiting for a Service Engineering Manager to join our client's Healthcare division in supervising the service and maintenance of range of machinery and equipment for healthcare providers.

Remuneration:
Starting salary of £37,000 to £42,000pa

Client

Our client is a highly successful supplier of bespoke patient care services, along with best-in-class healthcare technologies and consumables. Sustained growth has seen them become the largest manufacturer and provider of bespoke medical equipment in the UK, now with offices in Edinburgh, Dublin and Belfast.

Their Belfast office alone has grown from 80 to 120+ staff in recent years and their Health Tech division specialises in the supply and installation of medical equipment, conference room systems, screens, computer systems and other Audio Visual products for high profile companies, hospitals and government authorities across NI.

Main Responsibilities

  • Plan engineers daily work in conjunction with Service Support Manager / Service Desk Team
  • Ensure all documentation is maintained as required by system, the company and customers
  • Carry out quality control activities to ensure high quality of jobs completed by engineers
  • Support sales staff with site visits or quotations
  • Ensure health and safety documentations is raised and adhered to
  • Feedback project status and/or job status to management as required
  • Identify training needs of engineers and report to management as required
  • Carry out full equipment maintenance for customers in line with contractual requirements.
  • To assist carrying out customer demonstrations when required to do so.
  • To install and commission equipment on customer premises when required.
  • To ensure that the test equipment is in good order.
  • Adhere to hospital protocols and procedures when servicing equipment.


The Ideal Person:

  • Third level qualification in Engineering related field
  • 3 years experience in service/maintenance engineering
  • Previous supervisory/management experience
  • Full UK Drivers License
