Senior Data Engineer - Opportunity with a Leading Analytics Platform

Our client is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their brand-new data engineering team. This role will play a pivotal part in enhancing architecture to scale analytics capabilities in line with company growth.

Essential Criteria:

  • 4+ years of professional programming experience, including at a software product company.
  • Experience as an engineering lead for features/services within a product's functional area.
  • Proficiency in SQL.
  • Proficient with Python, Go, Java, Kotlin, or other server-side languages.
  • Experience with cloud providers such as AWS/GCP.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience with React and its ecosystem (e.g., Redux, Styled Components, etc.).
  • Proficiency in microservice-based architecture using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Ability to diagnose and solve code problems efficiently.
  • Passion for collaborating with product and design to create positive user experiences.
  • Competence in automated testing.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, eager to grow a business and collaborate with a team.
  • Comfortable utilizing data to support and validate concepts.
