The Role

As Head of Procurement, you will take ownership of the procurement function, developing and delivering strategies that support business growth and operational excellence. This is a pivotal leadership role suited to a commercially focused individual who is motivated by delivering measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies, policies, and processes in line with business objectives.

  • Lead, mentor, and support the procurement team to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery across all projects.

  • Oversee sourcing, supplier negotiations, and vendor management to meet cost, quality, and delivery goals.

  • Build and nurture strong supplier relationships, driving performance, value, and innovation.

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to support project delivery, budget management, and timelines.

  • Champion sustainability, compliance, and continuous improvement throughout the supply chain.

  • Manage ERP and procurement systems, ensuring data accuracy, reporting quality, and process efficiency.

About You

  • 5+ years' experience in senior procurement or supply chain management, ideally within construction, manufacturing, or related sectors.

  • A proven track record in strategic sourcing, negotiation, and cost optimisation.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and experience with ERP/procurement platforms.

  • Degree or professional qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field (CIPS accreditation preferred).

Why Join?
