Senior PMO Consultant

Job Description

Our client is in immediate need of a Project Management Officer to take full ownership of ongoing and future projects and become part of their constantly evolving team, within a global consultancy. This is an extremely rare opportunity to work on projects involving a wide range of technology in an extremely interesting, technical and well funded section of the business, as they continue to prosper and move into a significant period of growth in 2023.

Going forward, you will become at the forefront of a niche brand, extremely well backed by funding, work with some of the most advanced technology systems in the world and assist a magnitude of clients across the world from a wide range of sectors.

As a PMO, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of high-quality project deliverables on time and within budget, managing and monitoring project logs, developing and updating project reports, and supporting the development of clear, high-quality work products for clients.

In addition, you will help shape creative and innovative solutions to address client business and technology issues, assist in managing financial aspects of engagements, communicate effectively with the engagement team, the client, and internal and external stakeholders, and work confidently with clients to support building strong, trusted relationships.

Further responsibilities

* Building strong internal relationships within consulting and across other service lines.
* Developing and maintaining your personal training and development plan to ensure you continue to update and improve your skill profile on an ongoing basis.
* Supporting collaboration and teaming activities across engagements and across the Transformation Delivery team.

Requirements

* A strong academic record including a third level degree, preferably in a business, technology, or project management related area.
* At least three years of demonstrable experience working within a Project / Programme Management Office.
* Experience of working in a PRINCE2 environment
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Excellent, Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, Project
* Good understanding of project governance and change management principles.
* Additional professional qualifications, such as Prince2®, PMP or equivalent qualifications are desirable
