VANRATH are thrilled to be partnering with a worldwide consultancy firm as we search for a highly skilled Reward Manager / Senior Reward Manager to join their Reward Services Team. The client has a longstanding reputation of expertise in the field of Reward that supports companies to look after their employees through providing advisory services covering broad employee workforce strategy and programmes, executive remuneration and reward remuneration regulatory advice.

About the Role

As a Senior manager you will be working in the Reward Services team providing advice to clients in the following areas:

  • Providing advisory on company Total Rewards strategy and programmes to ensure their Total Rewards offering is forward looking and competitive in the attraction, retention and development of talent to help companies deliver their strategic objectives.
  • This includes advice on the design and implementation of pay, pay structures and incentive plans and advising on legislative and topical matters as they relate to reward and the broader workforce.
  • Designing pay strategies for Board and below Board individuals linking pay to corporate performance, taking into consideration regulatory and Corporate Governance requirements and institutional investor reviews
  • The management and delivery of client engagements.
  • Developing strong day to day relationships with your clients, who will call upon your technical expertise to help them develop appropriate and effective reward strategies
  • Contribute strongly to the growth of client business, proposing and winning new business and positively contributing to the overall development of the practice.
  • Providing market insights on company Total Reward strategy and programmes to ensure the offering is competitive in the attraction, retention and development of talent to help companies deliver their strategic objectives. This includes advice on the design and implementation of pay and incentive plans, benefits, wellness, and recognition.
  • Designing pay strategies for Board and below Board individuals - linking pay to corporate performance, taking into consideration regulatory and Corporate Governance requirements and institutional investor reviews.
  • Advising on the design and implementation of all aspects of incentive plans.
  • Support in the preparation of remuneration committee papers and reviewing and drafting of remuneration committee reports.
  • Conducting bench-marking against industry / market existing standards.
  • Conducting Gender Pay Gap analysis and supporting companies draft their Gender Pay Gap narrative.
  • Coaching and mentoring team members to develop professionally and advance their technical knowledge.
  • Developing material in support of winning, developing and maintaining client relationships, such as client proposals information documentation and events. In addition, in this role you will be given the opportunity to enable high-performing teams through team coaching, leading and supporting team members to make an impact that matters, and setting the direction to deliver exceptional client service.

About You

  • Educated at degree level with significant experience gained from working within a HR / Rewards / finance function or working in professional services is required
  • Technical skills on reward and executive remuneration issues
  • Experience in supporting winning, developing and maintaining client relationships
  • A professional and pro-active approach, to deliver client service that meets the client's exceptional standards
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - an ability to deal effectively and establish rapport with people at all levels (clients, partners, and staff)
  • An understanding of reward remuneration regulations and or experience in advising clients on equity remuneration and share plans would be desirable
  • Experience working for a blue-chip company, or the financial service industry would be an advantage.
