VANRATH have partnered with one of the most successful Pharmaceutical companies in the world to hire a Research Analyst to focus on Market Insights for their highly established Marketing team.

The successful candidate will focus on Market Insights under the supervision of the Marketing and Insights Director.

They will assist in the implementation of primary and secondary market research activities to answer key business questions and make recommendations for improvement/ development across the business.

The Ideal Person

  • Educated to degree in a subject requiring extensive research/ analysis/ insights
  • 1-2 years' experience in a market research/ market insights/ analytical role
  • Experience analysing multiple data sources and writing reports
  • Ability to review and digest large amounts of information and pull-out implications without getting lost in the detail
  • Comfortable handling large datasets using Microsoft Excel
  • Can communicate ideas/ point of view clearly - both written and verbally
  • Able to organise time and prioritise tasks to ensure that deadlines are met
  • Can proactively work on own initiative and make own suggestions for improvement.
  • Can comfortably work on more than one task at a time.
  • Experience/ knowledge of healthcare environment is desirable

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the implementation of primary and secondary market research activities to answer key business questions and make recommendations for improvement/ development across business units.
  • Analyse internal and external data and provide overview of key findings.
  • Develop knowledge of business unit offerings and target customers to add as much value as possible within the Market Insights role.
  • Monitor competitor activity and industry trends and collate information on a regular basis - generate monthly and quarterly results
  • Assist in managing the customer satisfaction process across all business units - maintain a database of client contact details, control survey distribution, collect and analyse results
  • Assist with the interpretation and presentation of data collected via other market research activities (qualitative and quantitative) - support planning, design, information gathering, analysis and interpretation of data
  • Liaise with appropriate internal stakeholders and external agencies/ groups to execute plan to agreed timescale and budget
