The role
This role of Purchase Ledger is a vital function of the finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the purchase ledger function and carry out the following:

  • Raising all purchase orders and invoices
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Coding purchase orders and cost invoices
  • Liaise with other departments to carryout pricing and quantity variance analysis
  • Reconcile monthly supplier statements
  • Run KPI's for the purchase ledger function



The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a driven and an ambitious finance professional who is keen to join a leading UK business. The successful candidate will be accountable for the whole purchase ledge function, whilst reporting to the purchase ledger supervisor.

  • At least 1+ years' experience in a finance function or a recent finance graduate
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • The ability to priorities effectively and work to tight deadlines
  • Competent in Microsoft packages
