VANRATH are pleased to be working with a local company going through a period of significant growth, looking for a Purchase Ledger to assist with their finance operation on an interim basis. Due to recent business success, the company are looking to strengthen their finance team with additional resource. This role would suit a Purchase Ledger professional with experience in a high volume environment.

This is an urgent appointment for the organisation and will offer the opportunity for an immediate start.

About you

If you are an experienced Purchase Ledger and are available to join a fast paced organisation to assist during a busy period the following would be suitable qualities:

  • Proven experience as a Purchase Ledger professional or similar role.
  • Knowledge of purchase ledger processes.
  • Experience with accounting software.
  • Proficient in MS Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

What you'll do

As a Purchase Ledger Clerk you will:

  • Process and review supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
  • Perform regular supplier statement reconciliations.
  • Resolve supplier queries and discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Prepare payment runs and ensure timely processing.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to improve purchase ledger processes and controls.
