VANRATH are pleased to be partnered with a leading Public Sector Organisation in NI who are recruiting for a Payroll & Pensions Manager to join their team on an initial interim contract. This role can offer an experienced payroll professional the next step in their career within the Public Sector.
The Ideal Person
- 5+ years end to end payroll experience
- Experience of administration of company pension scheme
- Ability to calculate manual payments
- Up to date knowledge and understanding of payroll and pensions legislation within the UK
- Ability to work well under pressure and to strict deadlines
- CIPP qualified or qualified by experience
Responsibilities
- Management of weekly and monthly payroll, including liaison with payroll bureau.
- Management of annual payroll, including liaison with HMRC and other external parties.
- Pension Scheme administration including liaison with members, Trustee, external advisers and administrators.
- Administration of WebExpenses system and processing of employee expenses.
- Efficient and accurate maintenance of accounting records and internal controls.
- Assistance with implementation of new integrated HR & Payroll system.
- Supervision of Payroll and Pensions Officer.
- Provision of executive support to the Financial Controller
