Payroll Administrator- Part time
We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join a well stablished finance team. This role is key to ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll, compliance with statutory regulations, and effective support for employee payroll queries.

What you'll do
- Process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls in line with deadlines and HMRC rules
- Maintain accurate records for starters, leavers, and staff changes
- Calculate statutory payments and apply relevant deductions
- Submit RTI returns and manage auto-enrolment and pensions
- Work closely with HR and Finance to ensure accurate payroll data
- Handle employee payroll queries professionally and promptly
- Produce payroll reports and support audits as needed
- Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and company policies
Key Requirements
- Previous experience in a payroll role (minimum 1-2 years preferred)
- Knowledge of UK payroll legislation and statutory requirements
- Experience using payroll software and Time Attendance systems
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
