VANRATH are excited to be working alongside a leading Public Sector body who are actively seeking an Office Manager to join their team on an initial 6-month basis to work in their facilities and Assets team.

About your next employer
To support the Head of Facilities & Assets, Capital Build & Assets Manager and Facilities Manager in the management and delivery of an efficient and effective administrative and financial service to the Facilities & Assets Department. This will include management of the Facilities & Assets Administrative Assistant.
Provide a comprehensive and confidential administration service, which requires regular interaction across internal Directorates, external bodies and other stakeholders and supporting staff within the Department.
About you
- Possess a minimum of HND or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject* e.g. Business, Finance or Management
- Have a minimum of 2 years' recent** experience of working in a demanding office environment at a supervisory level
- Demonstrable experience of providing administrative solutions to support the effective and efficient running of a business unit.
- Excellent organisational skills
- Must hold valid driving licence
What you'll do
- Management, development and delivery of all administrative, financial, clerical and general office duties including the development of internal management systems
- Maintain management software system
- Prepare detailed business cases, tenders and quotations in line with financial and procurement regulations, policies and procedures and corporate timescales.
- Undertake research for reports, engagements, briefings and meetings to assist the management team.
- Management of the Helpdesk Operator/Administrative Assistant, including the performance management and development.
- Develop and maintain training records for all departmental staff.
- Maintenance of an up-to-date knowledge of organisational policies and procedures at corporate and departmental levels.
