The Role


This is an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified solicitor to join a dynamic litigation team in Belfast. The successful candidate will gain exposure to a wide variety of commercial disputes, working closely with experienced colleagues on complex and high-value cases. The role offers excellent training, mentorship, and the chance to develop skills in a supportive, collaborative environment while contributing to a nationally recognised practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting on a wide range of commercial litigation matters
  • Drafting legal documents, correspondence, and reports
  • Conducting legal research and case preparation
  • Managing elements of cases under supervision and progressing files efficiently
  • Building strong relationships with clients and providing clear, practical advice
  • Working as part of a team to deliver high-quality service on major disputes

Requirements

  • Qualified (or soon-to-qualify) Solicitor in Northern Ireland
  • Strong academic background and a genuine interest in commercial litigation
  • Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities
  • Team player with a proactive and professional approach
