Project Accountant (Global Business/Belfast)
VANRATH are delighted to be working in partnership with a dynamic global business to recruit a technically strong Project Accountant to join the growing finance team.
Reporting to the Financial Reporting Manager this is a newly created role as the business is going through a period of sustained growth and will offer significant progression opportunities and will suit a recently qualified Accountant keen to make their first move into Industry.

What you'll do
- Assist in the preparation of monthly review packs for portfolio and project managers
- Prepare project analysis & cost reports
- Liaise with Project Managers/ Project Accountants
- Prepare contract estimates for Multi Year Budget & rolling monthly forecast information
- Assist in the development of IT tools, reporting techniques and skills
- Pro-actively support finance managers
- Provide financial support to project control team
- Carrying out month end processing activities
About you
- Recently Qualified Accountant, up to 2 years post qualified.
- Have ability to interact & communicate complex issues
- Have a track record of being able to quickly assimilate and analyse technical, financial data & information
- Have clear experience in providing financial analysis in a moving technical environment
- Have good practical/working understanding of ERP systems
