The role:

  • Oversee junior Accountancy team members, reviewing accounts and tax returns, bookkeeping, VAT, Payroll
  • Preparation of accounts and tax returns to completion for director review
  • Providing monthly and quarterly bookkeeping services on cloud accounting software
  • Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns
  • Processing and managing payroll and pension submissions
  • Providing clients with regular management accounts
  • Support Director's in delivering business strategic and management advice to clients, including cashflow forecasts and financial projections
  • Supporting directors with our start up businesses and managing these client relationships
  • Supporting, creating content and assisting to deliver programmes, including start up activity
  • Involvement in Internal business analysis and process development
  • Work closely with the directors to implement the future acquisition and growth plans, holding a key role in supporting the development of the team


The Candidate:

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Part Qualified or Qualified (ACA/ACCA)
  • Competent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Self-presentation skills when interacting with clients and external organisations
  • Problem solving ability
  • Strong organisational skills, the ability to plan, prioritise and multitask
  • Ability to work with a high level of confidentiality and sensitivity
  • Ambition to develop into a senior leadership role
