The role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Associate Director FP&A in the delivery of sound financial analysis and insights to inform tactical and strategic decision making.
  • Support the Associate Director FP&A in all aspects of operations related Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)
  • Key business partnering for area managers
  • To support commercial managers via the production and analysis of high-quality sales revenue and margin reports
  • Management reporting for the entire business
  • To report on the efficiency of the distribution of products to customers including transport and warehousing costs
  • To be a lead finance support in the sales and operations planning (S&OP) system from a demand point of view
  • To produce & support relevant business metrics (KPIs) to add visual representations of commercial data
  • To support the budgeting process
  • To support the mid-year, and end of year forecasting process
  • To analyse overheads, particularly in the areas of Commercial, Marketing and travel to ensure that the level of spend supports the revenue line
  • To report on sampling costs and the subsequent return on investment
  • Support the month end and year end processes
  • Support the wider Finance, HR and Commercial functions as required

The Candidate:

  • Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA etc)
  • Commercial finance experience
  • Proven experience and passion using data analytics for metrics reporting
  • Proactive and intuitive with strong communications skills using a business partnering approach
  • Strong IT and Excel skills
  • Power BI desirable
