Maintenance Manager

About the role:
The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of all machinery and equipment within our manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance management, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment. This role requires excellent leadership skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient workplace.

What you'll do:
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimal downtime.
- Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and address potential issues.
- Coordinate with production managers to schedule maintenance activities without disrupting production schedules.
- Manage the maintenance budget, including sourcing and purchasing parts, tools, and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and inventory.
About you:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance management role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of industrial machinery, mechanical & electrical systems, and preventive maintenance practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in using maintenance management software and tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Level 3 or higher in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
- Certification in maintenance management (e.g., CMRP, CPMM).
