Maintenance Engineer - FMCG | £42,210 | Northern Ireland
Full-time | 12-hour Shifts | Excellent Work-Life Balance


Are you a skilled Maintenance Engineer with strong electrical expertise and a background in FMCG or food production environments? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking company where your skills will be valued, and your career supported.


The Role:
You'll play a key part in maintaining and improving production equipment to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency. Responsibilities include:


  • Conducting preventative and reactive maintenance on machinery

  • Diagnosing electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic faults

  • Supporting new equipment installations and leading improvement projects

  • Maintaining accurate maintenance records

  • Providing training and support to apprentices

  • Working cross-functionally to resolve technical issues


What We're Looking For:
✅ Time-served engineer with NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
✅ Strong knowledge of 3-phase electrical systems, control circuits, pneumatics & hydraulics
✅ PLC fault-finding skills and experience with motor inverters & control gear
✅ Ability to read electrical & mechanical drawings

Desirable Extras:


  • Fabrication/welding experience

  • Full driving licence

  • 17th/18th Edition certification
