In this role, you'll be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of electrical, mechanical, and automated equipment, ensuring the continuity of production operations. You'll be empowered to manage your workload independently and efficiently, making a real impact on the business.

As a Maintenance Engineer in our dynamic team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our machinery and equipment within a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Health & Safety: Maintain health, safety, and hygiene standards in line with company policies and regulations.
  • Maintenance: Installation, repair, and upkeep of electrical and/or mechanical production equipment.
  • Fault Diagnosis: Carry out electrical and mechanical fault diagnosis to resolve issues promptly.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Ensure preventative maintenance schedules are adhered to and completed efficiently.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support across all departments to maintain production continuity.
  • Infrastructure: Keep the infrastructure of the production environment in top condition.
  • Reliability Improvements: Implement solutions to enhance machine reliability and quality standards.
  • Cost Control: Utilize the on-site CMMS systems to drive cost improvements and maintain efficiency.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to food safety, quality, legality, and environmental policies.

Essential Criteria

  • Qualifications: Time-served Electrical & Mechanical Engineer.
  • Experience: At least 2 years' recent experience in an industrial or engineering environment, preferably in high-volume production.
  • Skills: Strong fault-finding and control panel experience with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Motivation: Highly motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
  • Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
