VANRATH are delighted to again be assisting a growing and dynamic award winning Company with the Recruitment of Lolgistics Planners to join a highly progressive company based in their Omagh site.

Logistics Planners (Full-Time, Permanent)
Early Shift (6am-2pm)
Late Shift (2pm-10pm)

A leading manufacturer within the agri-food sector is expanding its operations and is seeking skilled Logistics Planners to join its high-performing team. These roles are based at a modern, high-capacity production facility and sit at the heart of customer service, production scheduling, and transport coordination.

About the Role

As a Logistics Planner, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of products from production through to delivery. Working closely with the Transport Manager, you will help deliver exceptional service by planning, organising, and optimising both production and logistics activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the scheduling of daily production and customer delivery plans
  • Assist with transport routing to ensure efficient and timely deliveries
  • Move vehicles and trailers on site and load customer orders as required
  • Process incoming customer orders and accurately allocate them within planning systems
  • Provide proactive customer support and utilise predictive ordering tools to maximise service levels

About You

The ideal candidate will bring strong organisational skills, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to maintaining high service standards.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Strong IT proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Office
  • Experience using transport planning or sales order processing systems
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a busy team
  • A methodical, organised approach with strong attention to detail

Desirable:

  • Experience planning and routing HGV fleets
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced office or customer service environment
  • A valid C+E or shunter licence
  • Understanding of agricultural or agri-food industries
