IT Technical Integration Executive (35K) (Belfast/Hybrid)

Job Description


A well-known financial services company with Belfast offices that has been in business for more than 10 years is looking to grow its team by adding a Professional Services Engineer.

In order to roll out new and current integration's, you will serve as a crucial point of communication between the firm's technical teams and the technical teams of the members of their price comparison panel.
You will oversee ensuring that the back-end coding related with these integration's is planned, implemented, maintained, and updated successfully by the technical team following your instructions.

To Apply for the position, you should have the following experience:

  • A Degree level (minimum of 2:1 or equivalent) in an IT Related area
  • Circa 3 years' experience in a technical role with a strong customer facing element
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and develop strong working relationships
  • Excellent analytical and accuracy skills
  • Excellent skills in MS Office (particularly Excel).
  • Excellent written communication skills (Emails)
  • Strong organisation and planning skills
  • Comfortable dealing with senior company executives.
  • Clear communicator who can see things from the other person's point of view
  • Eager to embrace new experiences, responsibilities, and accountabilities
  • Ability to operate alone, as part of team and under pressure

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in an IT, e-commerce, fintech or financial services environment.
  • Experience in writing user stories and technical requirements.
  • Experience in technologies such as PHP, Laravel, XML, SQL, JavaScript, etc.
  • Experience of CRM and Google Analytics would be beneficial


You could be expected to travel sometimes abroad, mostly inside the UK, in order to attend meetings and/or conferences.
Role responsibilities

  • Working with the firm's business development, and customer success teams to ensure successful onboarding of quoting panel members to the firm's comparison systems
  • Acting as the key point of contact between the firms' technical integrations teams
  • Maintaining accurate onboarding schedules, the integration roadmap and all associated integration documentation (technical requirements, question sets, mappings, and partner development packs)
  • Identifying and implementing efficiencies and contributing to improvements in integration processes
  • Depending on your experience, you may have the opportunity to mentor, coach and supervise new team members
