The Role:

We are looking for a hands-on, do-it-yourself individual contributor who can take on Internal Communication across 9 European countries, collaborating with "Communication Champions", Group Communications and a European HR team for employer branding. You will report to the HR Director, based in Germany.
You are hands-on with the ability to design presentations and graphics, write announcements and newsletters, and edit videos at a basic level.

Responsibilities:

  • Support all functions across the business unit with appropriate communications material
  • Responsible for coordinating all internal communication content and means, including support in the writing, proof reading and internal dissemination of internal announcements
  • Responsible for the content and ongoing development of the intranet
  • Coordinate and manage internal requirements for branded materials as required, including flags brochures, flyers, posters, etc. idea, text and image management, lead of agency
  • Photos, videos, animations: lead design agencies and photographers to support internal communications projects
  • Responsible for maintaining the stakeholder group internally
  • Maintain a country-based communication champion network
  • Manage translation requirements in parallel with local teams
  • Support all sites in the internal sharing of local success stories, news relating to innovation, and sustainability. Coordinate any such stories with Marketing and Communications in external sharing and publication
  • Coordination of all internal communication of internal events, news, updates, people changes in order to be transparent as an employer and support employee engagement
  • Create an internal event calendar
  • Coordinate internal stakeholder-specific and overarching events / meetings
  • Writing internal management - specific communication (townhall speech / pp)



The Ideal Person:

  • University degree in Journalism, Marketing or Communications.
  • Languages: High proficiency in English (written and verbal); another language advantageous.
  • 2-5 years' experience in internal communications
  • Experience of achieving and being successful against agreed KPIs
  • Must be a confident communicator and presenter
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout and design skills are essential
  • Must possess excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Superior project management and time management skills
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital media
  • Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach
  • Innovative and pro-active
