The Role:
As an Insolvency Executive, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, providing guidance on both personal and corporate debt scenarios, and implementing strategies to mitigate personal exposure. You will engage with creditors, insolvency practitioners, and legal representatives, providing both pre and post-insolvency advice. The role involves significant client interaction, ensuring that distressed businesses and individuals receive the support they need during informal restructuring processes or formal insolvency proceedings.

What you will do:

  1. Client Portfolio Management:
    Manage a portfolio of clients, providing both pre- and post-insolvency guidance, ensuring that personal and company debt exposures are properly handled.
  2. Debt Strategy Implementation:
    Implement strategies to mitigate personal exposure and handle company debt scenarios. You will work on liquidation, bankruptcy, and restructuring cases.
  3. Contract Review:
    Review contracts, personal guarantees, and loan agreements to assess their validity and provide appropriate recommendations.
  4. Communication & Negotiation:
    Engage with creditors, banks, charge holders, and legal representatives to negotiate terms and manage day-to-day communications.
  5. Industry Engagement:
    Gain exposure to a wide range of industries, working on complex insolvency cases that require detailed, day-to-day management.
  6. Legislation & Commercial Awareness:
    Stay updated on changes in legislation and creditor mandates to provide commercially sound advice and make quick, effective decisions.
  7. Client Relationships:
    Engage with clients from diverse backgrounds, ensuring their needs are fully understood and addressed in a professional manner.


What you will have:

  • Proven background in corporate insolvency, with a strong understanding of commercial practices.
  • Experience managing a portfolio of clients and navigating insolvency processes for both limited companies and individuals.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to engage with clients, creditors, and legal professionals effectively.
  • Sound commercial judgement and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience in credit control is desirable.
  • IT literate, with experience using a CRM system.
  • Degree-educated is preferred, though not essential.
