VANRATH is partnering with a leading manufacturer located in Monaghan Town, seeking to appoint a HR Manager on a full-time permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring HR Advisor or Generalist, ready to take the next step in their career, by assuming ownership of the HR function for 140 employees in a leading food manufacturing business.

Reporting to the Finance Controller, the HR Manager will form part of the middle management team and oversee an H&S Advisor.


This role offers hybrid work, with one day a week from home.

In this role you will design and implement HR policies, procedures and programmes to enable the business to consistently achieve its strategic goals and objectives; create a positive company culture that delivers a progressive experience for employees aligned with company Values and add value in support of the overall continuous improvement agenda.


Skills and Qualifications

  • Third Level qualification in a HR related discipline, preferably CIPD certified.
  • At least 3 years' experience in a HR Manager or Generalist position in a medium enterprise, ideally in FMCG manufacturing.
  • A proven record of delivering value added HR solutions and initiatives.
  • A passion for people and organisation development.
  • Ability to work cross functionally across a business collaborating with all stake holders.
  • Knowledge / experience of both ROI and Northern Ireland employment law is desirable.
  • People management experience is desirable.
